Discovery made simple

I came across a great example of a digital library that has made acess to and discovery of their collection simple, powerful and fun. The collection is catalogued in a very natural manner, mimicking the way we actually look for books. The results are presented and viewed in a way that is innovative, fun, and promotes use. It is actually the most intuitive yet powerful search interfaces I have come across. Oh, and did I mention the collection is made up of children's books, and the search interface was desigend in part by kids? Check it out at The International Children's Digital Library.
